Rainy Monon Trail -
See few people when it rains -
Walking solitude! It's kind of funny how a little rain scares off the masses. I'm not completely exculded from that group though. If it's in the mid-50s or below and rainy, I'm staying home too! But today it was in the mid-60s, so I went for it.
The most I saw while I was out on the Monon Trail in Indy today was a drizzle and it was great. I might have seen 10 or so people during about an hour of exercise.
With no ipod or walking partner, it makes for a nice, peaceful walk.
The lower trees and bushes already have leaves, which seemingly sprung up with Spring in just the last week or so. This growth restores the illusion of the privacy wall or tunnel that makes the Monon such a treat even though it's in the city.
Have an amazing day, even if it's gray on the outside!
